The idea of the North End Foundation of Berea grew out of brainstorming discussions between Reverend Leroy McCreary, Pastor of People’s Community Church, and members of his congregation on how to go outside the church walls and reach out to the community. The city’s North End consists of the Poet Streets, the St. Adalbert neighborhood and the Pearl Street neighborhood-all located in Ward 1.

The North End Foundation of Berea has been operating since their open-house date of August 12, 2006 and is located at: 634 Wesley Drive, Berea, Ohio 44017-1146
