Employers of Berea Youth Works
Our youth would not be able to go to work each spring and summer without your help. Consider how you might provide an opportunity to put youth to work. Berea merchants, churches, non-profits, and homeowners have provided work experiences for Berea youth each summer. No work experience identified is too small; the idea is to give Berea youth meaningful work experiences, opportunities to learn new skills, money to help with school fees, and exposure to a teamwork environment consisting of students and adult supervisors.
Current Youth Wages
Our students earn $8.20 per hour and our lead students earn $9.00- and 10.00 per hour. The community benefits from employing bright, talented and disciplined young people that can easily do work that many seniors have informed our office that they are just not physically able to do. It is not just seniors but any employer that has extra work that can be taken care of by our youth workers.
